12 months of cuteness.

once again i love modcloth.  besides all of the fun vintage clothing, they have all of these great retro-inspire finds.  cupcakes make people happy.  there’s no lie there.

sort through the madness.

there are so many artists on etsy now that it is hard to get through to the really unique and special ones. rowena of red ruby rose is no new kid to the block, and her clutches are so unique and really timeless. the trouble is just figuring out which is my favorite…hurry, because her shop closes november 6th in prep for her new collection!

blank canvas.

so i have this wall that is blank.  it has been staring at me for months as i decided whether to use the space as dining or office.  now that i’ve come to terms with the fact that i use the area more for work than to impress people with my cooking skills (see post below), it is time for the fun part.  just some ideas i have come across below.

 

modern genealogy.

i love vintage family trees, but my family is so small i always thought, what’s the point. big or small, my tree & me designs and customizes modern genealogy charts. they are so flippin beautiful, i’m going to start researching tomorrow (or maybe just someday really, really soon).

boy, girl. boy, girl.

grade school sitting arrangement that used to be punishment.  but if i were going to buy these adorable napkin rings by brooklynrehab, i would buy one “girl” and the rest “boys”.  i’m just saying.

hold on for dear life.

patkas clutches are the sweetest things, and you would never guess that they are all from recycled leather.  i’m sure any girl would be happy to hold on tight.

it must be time.

to go back to the east coast for the holidays.  i know this, because the only wishlist, hopeful purchases catching my eye are party dresses and cozy mittens. 

in search for the next new year’s eve dress, i remembered last year my friend and i discovered sarahseven. it was an extreme search to find the most amazing dress.  you know, the dress to impress and make any ex-boy jealous and any new-boy notice.  the robins egg dress made us giddy for weeks, although it was ultimately determined that these dresses deserved much more special events, besides silly boys.
