chomp. chomp.

shout out to chictip.  they are truly like the orbitz of design websites.  you know they have shopped around, scoped things out, and you are getting the best deal of what is going on and out there in the world.  somewhere down the road they were nice enough to let me write for them from time to time.  you don’t complain when you get to stare at cool places like the salad shop.

mix and match.

February 26, 2010

always had a love for chairs, ever since i watched my mom reupholster the ones in our kitchen when i was little.  the problem is, i usually can’t decide which ones i like best.  thankfully it looks like a collection of mix and matched ones is the way to go.  now i just need to move to the country and find that farmhouse with the wrap around porch.  gosh darn the daily to-do list gets longer and longer by the minute.

wall of a million post-its.

February 24, 2010

there may be no furniture in my house when i move to austin, but i can surely snag some post-its to cameo as wallpaper.  i’ll just have to keep the windows closed so the wind don’t blow.  eeks!

it tis a new year and therefore about time to reorganize my workspace.  the thought is that if i stop procrastinating creating the ‘perfect’ area that i might stop procrastinating the creative projects in my head.  inspiration below.

especially when you can’t paint the walls in your rental.  single stone studios has the most amazing decals, that you don’t have to worry about painting over when you leave your apartment.  there are so many to choose from, it is kind of hard to decide.

blank canvas.

November 4, 2009

so i have this wall that is blank.  it has been staring at me for months as i decided whether to use the space as dining or office.  now that i’ve come to terms with the fact that i use the area more for work than to impress people with my cooking skills (see post below), it is time for the fun part.  just some ideas i have come across below.
