shout out to chictip.  they are truly like the orbitz of design websites.  you know they have shopped around, scoped things out, and you are getting the best deal of what is going on and out there in the world.  somewhere down the road they were nice enough to let me write for them from time to time.  you don’t complain when you get to stare at cool places like the salad shop.

only in western pennyslvania can you be on your way to a cherry orchard, when you get stopped in your tracks by the vintage landmind of your dreams. we seriously almost crashed when i yelled, STOP!  in prep for the upcoming table decor shoot, this was fate at it’s best.  20 bucks will buy you this.

always had a love for chairs, ever since i watched my mom reupholster the ones in our kitchen when i was little.  the problem is, i usually can’t decide which ones i like best.  thankfully it looks like a collection of mix and matched ones is the way to go.  now i just need to move to the country and find that farmhouse with the wrap around porch.  gosh darn the daily to-do list gets longer and longer by the minute.

as i caught up with one of my oldest and dearest friends over the holidays, i just about fell off my barstool and dropped my apple cinnamon sangria {delicious as it sounds}. one of her friends, modernicus, may be more obsessed with mid-century furniture than myself.  and yes, i could stare at these chairs all day and night.
